What have I learned from studying "The Family: A Proclamation to the World"? In these last twelve weeks I have learned the eternal nature of God, something I have always assumed I knew but in reality I knew very little. I have discovered the reason for the creation of the earth was to provide a place where we can create eternal families. How amazing is that! Of everything that I have learned this statement has had the most impact..."Salvation is an individual matter, exaltation is a family matter." (M. Russell Nelson) We can make correct choices and achieve salvation but we need to make correct choices as an eternal family to achieve exaltation. This statement has opened up many avenues of thought and has become a focal point to how I live my life with my family.
